I think one should get to choose exactly what his bodily hair growth rate should be. I've seen people who cherish goatees for months before they even become discernible, and I've seen people (mostly in my mirror) capable of sporting up to three randomly chosen styles of beard (or not) within a week. I cannot call any of these sets lucky, even normal.
