sounds funny aint it? well this design lab of ours is the free-est time but unfortunately we cannot do anything. thing is, there's absolutely nothing to do still we have to stay in the lab till 6 (ugh).. anyway today we gotta make something on a breadboard.... tushar and abhimanyu have gone to collect stuff for the circuit while i stay here alone with nothing better to do.
my winning streak at fac got discontinued (in a rather funny way) yesterday when we came fourth (duh) in mask making. fourth means everybody not in top 3 :>
Anyway we had to make a mask of any sort whatsoever. unlike other teams who had done their homework and got to work as soon as the time started....we waited til half time just for the right idea.... and as things turned out we took a sadistic approach and made the mask as a man's face with one half blackened (we were attacking racialism ;) ) and wounds all over his face. are usp was a dagger sticking out of his forehead which was done pretty well. anyway lack of time urged us to work faster and we ended up keeping it rather unimpressive. above that rajani's persistant suggestion to keep the mask inclined so the face of the wearer (what a word) of the mask and the face ON the mask were at an angle (precisely 42.6754553233 degrees). this had made things funny rather than impressive and we knew the results even b4 they were announced. sab chalta hai....;). important thing was that we had some desparately needed fun.
i qualified for mastermind this time arnd.....scitech (duh). anyway qualifying in a quiz for me is always a gr8 achievement so i'm looking forward to the finals. whatever, thing is i have to select a topic, anything i want from scitech and all my questions will be from it. i'm thinking of giving quake 3 as my topic (or something to do with it) but i might rethink b4 i submit.
