Unfortunately for my keen eye that hardly misses such details, last to last to last post was number 200 for this blog. Lets celebrate post number 203, a number that incidentally happens to be the last part of my computer's IP address (a computer that hasn't seen a lot of light lately). It is also the number of an unfortunate, also, cruel, lab that I'm doing this semester. If you remove a zero from my entry year at IIT, you'll again get the same number, but that'll be pushing things too far.

TOEFL wasn't nearly as psyching as GRE had been. Not that it wasn't at all psyching. It was sufficiently psyching in its own right, coupled with the effect of the terrible environment they have at the centre (center, if you will, I've almost caught it after filling up that disclaimer twice). The air-conditioner, the water, the silence, and all the other things reek effusively of a feeling that's not far from what you get in hospitals and the likes. The system is too systematic, making you feel more like lab rats than examinees.

Totally relied on luck in the reading section. Didn't have a lot of time for some reason. I've stopped wondering why time compresses at the Yusuf Sarai testing centre. Listening section wore me out like a used condom, really.

The break involved me eating a muffin, drinking distilled water, and generally psyching myself over the upcoming speaking section. Completely spoke my heart out in that. Ran out of time several times, wonder if it'll affect grading. Stop thinking Patney.

Writing was a cakewalk compared to other things. Raped it.

TOEFL iBT is too tedious for humans. Left no stones unturned in putting that out on the survey. We need more soundproof personalized cubicles too. Everybody could hear everybody speak on how they miss their home etc.

I turn 21 tonight it hasn't happened a lot in the past. First time out of exams actually. Also on a weekend, so can conveniently run home.
