Not pretty.
Have a /home with about 4 gigs free, but I doubt if it will be enough for this disk eating monster. Considering linking something from this partition, don't know really what to.
What a waste.

You can install only the stuff you like in Linux. Most linuxes can run with under 400mb of software.
Precisely my thoughts before installing. But
a) Gentoo stores everything
b) I need to do some work too, not just have a working linux, right?
Currently I've hd to unpack java in some obscure location under /home to be able to do it
